How it works

  1. 1

    Capture the request

Paste a text, email, or forwarded message. Swapprocity suggests a title, checklist and deadline, and lists anything missing — you review before it’s saved.

  2. 2

    Agree on the work

Price it from your partner’s agreed rate card or a custom quote. Estimated, proposed and agreed prices are always labelled, and extra work is added as a separate change.

  3. 3

    Track the exchange

When the job is done, record its confirmed value. See at a glance who owes whom, and print a dated statement whenever you need one.

Why business owners use it

  • No more lost requests

Every job lives in one simple list with its deadline, checklist, files, and the original message.

  • Consistent, fair pricing

Agreed rates are kept with dated history. A quick pricing check shows when a quote differs from the rate — in plain, neutral language.

  • Clear balances

“Charles owes you $300 in trade value.” Each partner is tracked separately, and every number traces back to a dated entry.

  • Nothing sent without you

Partners don’t need accounts, and Swapprocity never contacts them. Files stay private to your workspace.

Who it’s for

Service businesses that trade skills with trusted partners.

  • Printers print signs and banners for an installer, who installs graphics in return.
  • Designers trade logo and web work for a photographer’s product shoots.
  • Installers track square-foot rates across jobs passed along by a print shop.
  • Photographers swap shoot days for marketing materials and keep the value even.
  • Other service pros apparel decorators, engravers, videographers, web developers, and more.

Questions

Is cash required?

No. Swapprocity tracks work you trade with partners you already know. You can still pay cash for anything — it just isn’t part of the trade balance unless you record it that way.

How are trade values recorded?

In dollars, as the value you and your partner agreed for completed work. Proposed or unfinished work never changes a balance, and corrections are added as dated adjustments so nothing is silently erased.

Do my partners need an account?

No. Partners are simply contacts in your workspace. Adding them never sends a message or invitation.

How do agreed rates work?

Each partner can have a simple rate card — per item, per hour, per square foot, or fixed. Rates default to the normal cash price unless you agree a different trade rate. New rates apply going forward; agreed projects keep the price they were agreed at.

Is this a barter network or a credit system?

No. Swapprocity organizes exchanges between you and partners you already work with. It doesn’t guarantee delivery, and balances aren’t spendable credits — a balance with one partner can’t be used with anyone else.
